H.A.L.T.: Continuing a Lynn Youth Leadership Tradition

This November, Girls Inc. of Lynn, with the help of SCI AmeriCorps member Liandra Reyes, will be holding their annual HALT Conference with workshops, resources, and fun events for local teens! With HALT, teens can find their “outlet while they are in high school” through vocational training and programs.

Introducing Our New AmeriCorps Program Manager!

Social Capital Inc.'s AmeriCorp program welcomed a new manager this August. Phil Gordon, a Woburn native, served in AmeriCorps during the 2018-2019 year and took over as manager in August of 2019. Since he was hired, he has worked hard to recruit and help out new AmeriCorps members for the 2019-2020 year. As a past AmeriCorps member himself, he has a great understanding of the program and its benefits to the communities that our members serve.

SCI AmeriCorps is now recruiting members to serve across our various partner sites in Eastern Massachusetts!
