SCI Pitch Contest Projects Busy This Summer
Many of the young leaders who successfully presented their ideas at the 2026 SCI Youth Grant Pitch Contest have been busy implementing their projects this summer!
Soley recently held their cultural celebration for youth in Boston to learn about and embrace multiple cultures. They had a great turnout for this opportunity to learn about the history and traditions of several cultures represented in Boston neighborhoods. SCI Managing Director Philip Gordon, who launched the SCI Pitch Contest program in 2021, was on hand for the celebration.
Congrats to the Soley youth leaders, Emalee Milcet and Neicka Mathias, and their advisors, Ethan Mitchell and Jean Samuel Bathiany, , on a successful event! Thanks to the volunteer coaches, Kenny Weill and Jonathan Feldman, and the Boston Bridges Initiative, which supported the 2026 Bridging track at the Pitch Contest.
