LET Family Night 2026

In celebration of SCI’s high school LET interns, SCI held its inaugural LET Family Night on April 23, 2026 at the Woburn Public Library Program Room.

Guests participated in a facilitated activity designed to spark meaningful conversation and bridge intergenerational connections between community members.

“It was a wonderful time to socialize and build connections within the community I live and work in,” shared an attendee.

The potluck-style celebration brought together 32 guests, including SCI staff and board members, families, library staff, community leaders, and volunteers from DCU, to honor the dedication of our five SCI LET interns. We were also honored to welcome community leaders, including Woburn Mayor Michael Concannon, Woburn Chief of Staff Chris Kisiel, and Woburn Public Library Director Hermayne Gordon.

Following a presentation on the LET’s impact, the interns took center stage. Each intern introduced themselves and shared their favorite program experiences, highlighting the professional skills they developed and the lasting network they formed.

A highlight of the night was the recognition of our graduating seniors, Gimari Francois and Rayane K. Hadjiat. While Rayane was celebrated in spirit, Gimari was present to receive a certificate and graduation cord, commemorating his commitment to community leadership through SCI LET.

The LET Program engages local high school students to address peer mental health through resources, community events, educational workshops, and a youth-managed mental health website (middlesex4mentalhealth.org).
