Winter Wellness: Safeguarding Against Respiratory Viruses

As we head into the chilly month of February we hope you’re keeping warm and healthy this winter. We are well into the winter respiratory season and with it comes a heightened prevalence of RSV, flu, and COVID-19 nationwide.  A concerning factor is the emergence of the new COVID-19 variant, JN.1, responsible for over 60% of cases this January, coupled with only 1 in 5 people receiving a COVID booster. 

To support your well-being during this season and empower you with knowledge and practical tips, we wanted to share a valuable Fact Sheet from the National Resource Center for Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (NRC-RIM). It has some great tips to help you safeguard yourself against respiratory illnesses such as  COVID-19, the flu, and RSV.
