Local Organizations Launching Healthy for the Holidays Campaign

Published by Nicole Porter on

As the holidays draw near, we’re so excited to announce that we are teaming up with the Council of Social Concern (CSC) for a “Healthy for the Holidays” campaign that will run through January! With a shared commitment to community health, SCI VEAP and CSC will be working together to provide valuable tips and information to help everyone stay healthy during the holiday season.

About The Council of Social Concern

The Council of Social Concern is a well-established organization in Woburn, MA whose goal is to respond to the basic needs of people of all ages while creating positive family and community relationships and fostering respect for diversity. Check out their website and Facebook page to learn more!

About The Campaign

SCI’s Vaccine Equity and Access Program (VEAP) was given the opportunity this year to invite another community-based organization to join as a partner on the program. The Council of Social Concern was a natural choice given their shared goal of strengthening the community by providing people with resources to help them meet their basic needs. We’re excited to be partnering with CSC to share valuable information on vaccinations and enhance community well-being by providing essential resources and support!

Campaign Highlights

We will be working with CSC to share informative posts on social media and weekly educational emails. We’ve got some great community events coming up where we’ll be sharing important information, including the CSC’s annual Thanksgiving food distribution on November 21st.

Exciting things are in the works so keep an eye on your inbox for upcoming events, vaccine clinic info, and important information on staying healthy this fall and winter. Be sure to stay tuned to our social media, and check out CSC’s facebook page. Join us in prioritizing health and well-being this holiday season so that we can all be “Healthy for the Holidays”!
