2026 SCI Youth Grant Pitch Contest Welcomes 15 Youth Teams
The 2026 SCI Youth Grant Pitch Contest is launching its 5th year with 15 youth teams from across Greater Boston!
Across the 15 teams, 125 youth are supporting their peers and communities through developing youth-led, community-focused projects. Volunteer Pitch Coaches will guide the youth as they develop their projects and pitches. Each team will have the chance to receive up to $2,000 in grant funding!
SCI’s Youth Grant Pitch Contest provides youth with the opportunity to decide how to strengthen their communities while building valuable professional skills such as public speaking, project management, and community organizing.
This year’s youth projects will address a range of pressing community needs that fall under one of three social impact tracks: Arts & Culture, Bridge-building, and Mental

Con Manos Unidas We Change – De Nosotros Foundation & Eastie Coalition, East Boston
EVkids Youth Leaders – EVkids, Boston
Mass. Youth Climate Coalition – Massachusetts Youth Climate Coalition, Malden
Soley – Immigrant Family Service Institute, Mattapan
Arts & Culture
- Community Health Cohort – La Colaborativa, Chelsea
- Connor’s Kindness Project – Connor’s Kindness Project, Winchester & Woburn
- ECO (Environmental Chelsea Organizers) – GreenRoots, Chelsea
- Green Jobs – La Colaborativa, Chelsea
- IMPACT – Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School, Sudbury
The program will culminate on April 11th at SCI’s in-person Pitch Event, where each team will pitch their projects to a panel of judges who will award up to $25,000 in total grant funds. The SCI Youth Grant Pitch Contest is a free program that empowers young leaders by providing youth in Greater Boston with funding, mentorship, skill development, and community connections. The 2026 SCI Youth Grant Pitch Contest is supported by Boston Children’s Hospital, State Street, M & T Bank, Winning Home Inc., Boston Bridges Initiative, The Boston Foundation, Kick it for a Cause and a state budget line item supported by Senator Cindy Friedman. The Cummings Foundation provides major support for all SCI programming.
