Social Media Team Member
To further spread news about SCI and about local events coordinated by SCI and other community partners through social media outlets. SCI staff and AmeriCorps members have been actively engaging the community through social media and would like to create an expanded network of people sharing our content to increase the reach and impact.
This work can be done from any location where you have an internet connection.
Basic knowledge of Facebook and Twitter. An active Facebook and Twitter account. Access to the internet and a device with which you can connect to the internet.
One or two posts a week on Facebook and Twitter.
An optional one hour long social media training. Will receive weekly email with suggested posts and tweets.
Will virtually meet with team every three months to discuss and evaluate the interaction that shared posts and re-tweets have generated.
Receive sample tweets prepared by SCI on community events and social capital topics. Opportunity to have your content shared by other team members. Increased knowledge of social media outreach. Connection to others interested in using social media for social good.
