"Title," by Author, The SCI Daily News

On December 8, SCI Woburn will host their biannual event, the Woburn Holiday House Tour.

The Holiday House Tour is event that consists of festively decorated homes in Woburn. The tour allows community members to see historic and unusual homes in other parts of the city that they may not see otherwise. The homes on the tour this year will open their doors to members within the community in an effort to share the holiday spirit!

The house tour is a great way to bring the Woburn community together by sharing new holiday decorating ideas, festive recipes, and clever crafts. It is also a great way for people to come meet new members of the community and bridge social capital.

Lennon Insurance & Arbella Support SCI's Fuel Relief Efforts

Recently, SCI blogged about our efforts to meet a need in the community, a lack of emergency fuel assistance options for Woburn residents. This story gained increased attention in the community by being featured in local newspapers.

SCI was plesantly surprised by the donations that came in from local community members and businesses to support this effort. Due to the generous response, SCI has already helped four families to heat their homes this winter!

One of our biggest supporters has been Lennon Insurance Agency in Woburn and Arbella Insurance Group Charitable Foundation. They recently made several donations to local charities including SCI's fuel relief efforts. This story has been featured in the local newspapers as well.
