SCI Rising Idealist
The SCI Idealist Award honors individuals who exemplify the mission of our organization. When looking at the nominees for our SCI Idealists, we found there were a few who met our description of an SCI Idealist, even though they are quite early in their careers. We created the SCI Rising Idealist to celebrate an outstanding emerging leader each year. While we know that there is not one SCI Idealist who is finished making an impact, the SCI Rising Idealist is just getting started.

While we know that there is not one SCI Idealist who is finished making an impact, the SCI Rising Idealist is just getting started.
The SCI Rising Idealist is an emerging leader in Greater Boston who:
- who prioritizes authentic relationship building in their communities
- has played a leadership role in one or more community initiatives bringing people together and building bridges in order to create thriving, inclusive communities
- has not yet received significant recognition for their efforts
- has shown commitment to SCI values
There is no age requirement for the SCI Rising Idealist Nomination, however, we anticipate the SCI Rising Idealist will be early in their career/community work.
