Arts and Culture Committee – Mayor’s Youth Council, Boston

The Arts and Culture Committee team’s goal with their project was to represent youth voices and the multicultural communities in Boston. They were awarded $1,200 to host an event called the Cultural Canvas Gallery –a one-day event dedicated to highlighting the diversity of arts and culture among Boston’s youth. The Gallery officially opened in June! 

 We created an art and visual gallery by youth and for youth that showcased the diversity of Boston as well as its neighborhoods.  Their project raised awareness to the diversity of Boston, and also to showcase youth art and talent.
