Social Capital Inc (SCI) is proud to announce the Woburn Arts & Culture Today events publication. The publication consists of an artist directory and events calendar. The directory will be used to provide information regarding local performers, musicians and artisans. All Woburn artists are encouraged to visit www.sciwoburn.org and post their information in the directory. The calendar will be used to highlight and promote cultural events in and around Woburn. Presently, SCI is seeking submissions from local performers, musicians, artisans, agencies and programs for individual contact information and upcoming cultural events for Spring 2008. The deadline for submissions for our spring brochure will be February 22, 2008.

(Dorchester, MA) On October 31, 2007, the Dorchester Youth Council hosted their 4th Annual Trick-or-Treat Food Can Drive. They went out into one of many Dorchester’s prominent neighborhoods, the Melville Park community, respectfully making a small offer to the residents: “Keep those delicious candies but, can you give us canned foods to help feed the Dorchester Community?”
