WorldFest 2017 Performance Line-Up Announced!

"WorldFest announces May 21 performance lineup ," by Social Capital Inc., The Woburn Advocate (May 11, 2017).

WorldFest is returning on Sunday, May 21, from 1-5pm at Library Field, 63 Harrison Ave. in Woburn. This annual multicultural festival celebrates ethnic diversity and cultural traditions from around the world. Visitors can enjoy a variety of performances, craft vendors, children's activities and food from countries across the globe. There is an amazing performance lineup for this year's WorldFest:

Shaila School of Dance 1:20-1:35 p.m. kickoff

Greg Coles African Dance and Drum 1:40-1:55 p.m.

Upasana Classical Indian Dance 2:00-2:15 p.m.

Ku's TaeKwonDo Academy 2:20-2:35 p.m.

Intermission

Os Forrozeiros Dance Group 3:00-3:15 p.m.

Move & Inspire Japanese Hip-Hop 3:20-3:35 p.m.

Daoist Gate Wudang Arts Tai Chi 3:40-3:55 p.m.

Johara and Snake Dance Theater Company 4:00-4:15 p.m.

People are invited to come together on Library Field to celebrate the diverse heritages that make up our communities.

This is a free family event but food and craft vendors will charge for purchases. In the event of rain, our rain location will be at Kennedy Middle School, 41 Middle St., Woburn.Read more
