Please join, families from the neighborhood, faith community - all faiths, youth groups, neighborhood watch/civic organizations, peace organizations, police, neighborhood services liaisons, trauma/ resilience providers, street workers, civil rights organizations and elected officials.

Join Social Capital Inc. for breakfast, networking and information

On behalf of Social Capital Inc.(SCI), a local nonprofit organization, we would like to invite you to a free breakfast at Goulston & Storrs on Wednesday, October 28.  This event will be a great way to learn more about SCI and what we do as well as a good opportunity to meet others involved in local business. 



The gathering will begin with networking and a continental breakfast from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Our program will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. and we will be done by 9. SCI President David Crowley will be presenting the program's important work in Boston area communities and ways you and/or your company might potentially help with our growth plans.

The Franklin Park Coalition in Dorchester will welcome CEP students for this volunteer event. During this particular service day we have planned to move a shed, and clear brush in the park. This should be a fun and exciting team building exercise and everyone is invited to join in.

Gloucester Better Together

On Wednesday, October 23, Healthy Gloucester will be sponsoring an event to help build on the exisiting relationships in the town of Gloucester, Massachuseetts to help strengthen the community by connectings neighbors and families. The mission of Healthy Gloucester is help create a healthier environment for the Gloucester Youth. Come out to this event to help the Gloucester community brainstorm ways they can establish a healthier community for their youth!

SCI will be supporting the community members with a follow up session on the ideas that emerged from this gathering as part of our work within Gloucester.
